The energy and digestible amino acid values are formulated to meet the needs of this period.
Water consumption should be carefully monitored. Water should always be readily available and clean for the animals. Shelters should be clean and well-ventilated.
If animals are to be kept on the floor, care should be taken with the bedding.
No animal products are used.
